He was predeceased by: his parents, Vaclav Petrik (Jim) and Pauline Petrik (Kocmick); his wife Marcella Roth; his brother Robert J. Petrik; and his sister-in-law Anna Petrik (Cihak).
He is survived by: his children, Marcia Hento (Jeff) of Custer, SD, Margaret Carling (Troy) of Piedmont, SD, Mathew "Mike" Petrik (Mellissa) of Avon, SD and Larry Petrik (Kay) of Mitchell, SD. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
