He was predeceased by: his parents, Ellswortth Walz and Martha Walz; his spouse Verona Marsden; and his parents-in-law, Harland Marsden and Lilliam Marsden (Kvame).
He is survived by: his children, Dale Walz (Vicki) of Hot Springs, SD, Diana Descombaz (Rod) and Dennis Walz (Kathy); his brother Charles Walz (Kathy) of Mitchell, SD; and his close friends, Irvin and Jeannie King. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great grand children, great great grandchildren, a sister-in-law, brother-in-law, nieces, nephews.
