John Fluegel Obituary

We are sad to announce that on December 16, 2020, at the age of 96, John Fluegel of Mitchell, South Dakota, born in Salem, South Dakota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Edward and Dorothy Fluegel (Bates); his brother Dale; and his grandson Patrick. He is survived by: his wife Viola Jarding; his granddaughter Kathy; his children, Jacque Flattem (Donald) of Davenport, IA, Steve Fluegel (Nancy) and Kathy Dexheimer; his grandchildren, Michael Flattem (Jessie), Evan Fluegel (Tamara), Alex Fluegel, Chelsea Fluegel, Megan Dexheimer and Lorresa Flattem; his great grandchildren, Alexa, Anthony Flattem, Austin, Cole and Delaney Fluegel; and his sister Mary Lou Beath (Fluegel). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Masks are mandatory for the Mass.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to Boys Town or St Judes.
