He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerrit Drost and Grace Drost (Johns); his wife Helen; his sisters, Dorothy Lauck, Edith Weber and Caroline Buller; his nephews, Richard Lauck, Loren Lauck and Darrel Buller; and his niece Karen Moore. He is also survived by many nieces & nephews and special friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Will Funeral Chapel (210 E Green Dr, Mitchell, SD 57301). A memorial service was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 at 6:45 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 at the Servicemen's Memorial Cemetery (600 W 23rd Ave, Mitchell, SD 57301).
