It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Johanna Margaret Weiss of Mitchell, South Dakota, born in Parkston, South Dakota, who passed away on October 20, 2020, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Weber and Rose Weber; her husband Garland Weiss; her siblings, Lois Thury, Betty Carlson, Joan Smith and Bob Weber; and her brothers-in-law, Darwin Wieger, Kermit Carlson, Clarence Thury and Gilbert Weiss (Jeanette).
She is survived by: her children, Randy Weiss (Mary) of Liberty, MO, Dan Weiss (Dawn), Dean Weiss (Shanna), Judy Beiswanger (Terry) and Mark Weiss; her siblings, Joe Weber (Paula) of Parkston, SD, Charlotte Weiger of Piedmont, SD and Rosemary Walz (Ken); and her sisters-in-law, Arlys Weber of Sioux Falls, SD and Quila Walz (Elmer). She is also survived by brother in-law, Al Smith, CA, thirteen grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, two great grandchildren on the way as well as many nieces and nephews.
