He is survived by: his brother John Vasek (Linda) of Geddes, SD; and his nieces and nephews, Jeff Vasek (Jacky) of Texas, Gregory Vasek of Geddes, SD, Kevin Vasek of Lake Andes, SD., Arlo McKim (Nancy) of Crystal, MN, Lois Nash and Janet Taragos (Daniel) of Eden Prairie, MN.
Joe also made a donation to fund the covered shelter at the American Legion Cemetery.
