It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jeannine Jean DeHaai of Mitchell, South Dakota, who passed away on September 19, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Ben VandenHoek; her brothers, Bill VandenHoek and Norman VandenHoek; and her grandson Blake Runestad. She is survived by: her husband Wesley DeHaai; her children, Leland DeHaai (Alicia), Randy Horvath (Miae), Laura DeHaai, Delwyn DeHaai (JoLynn), Dee Sweetser (Jim), Linda Hamburg (Jeff), Lois Runestad (Wade) and David DeHaai (Dawn); and her siblings-in-law, Sylvan DeHaai (Naydene), Wilma VandenHoek and Arlene VandenHoek. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 26 greatgrandchildren.
