He was predeceased by: his parents, Matt Arens and Angaline Arens (Yost); his wife Betty Lea McGee; and his sister Patricia. He is survived by: his children, Pam Filter-Trosin (Larry) and Don Arens; and his grandchildren, Tracy Filter (Debi), Justin Filter (Angel), Cory Filter (Susan Hoffman), Joel Arens (Linda), Levi Arens and Noah Arens. He is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren.
