It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ila Rumbolz of Mitchell, South Dakota, who passed away on March 19, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Bill; her siblings-in-law, William and Martha; her brother Melvin; her brothers-in-law, Lyle and Luvern; and her daughter Jamie.
She is survived by: her children, Randy (Dawn King) of Dimock and Lori of Mitchell; her daughter-in-law Nancy Bowar of Kennebec; her son Toby (Susi) of DeSmet; her daughter-in-law Kim of Madison; her grandchildren, Teppo Kettula (Minna) of Finland, Sonja Herman (Mehmet) of Germany, Rici Pfefferlorn (Thorston) of Germany, Anna Bjornsdottir (Eigl) of Iceland, Ina Bergheim of Germany, Patricio Sainz (Barbara) of Mexico, Paul Robichaud, Elisha Tiede (Brent), Lexy Klumb (Brandon), Heather Schmidt (Dominic), Eric Rumbolz, Travis Rumbolz (Tanya), Jessica Cox (Randy), Nick Rumbolz, Jason Rumbolz (Brooke), Josh Thill (Jenny), Gina Beckman (Jonathan), Anthony Pittenger (Jessica), Heather Pittenger (Tony), Maddy, Helmi Kettula, Orvokki Kettula, Kerkko Kettula, Ben Herman and Tillian Pfefferkorn; her great grandchild Troy Haag (Annie Kafka); and also, Sarah, Callie and Kyle.
