She was predeceased by: her parents, Jacob Schamber and Matilda Schamber (Kahler); her husband Harvey Johnston of Bradley, SD; her daughter Sherry Sparrow; her siblings, Edna, Hilda, Esther, Alvina, Leona, Louise, Albert, Edwin "Spud", William "Bill" and Art; and her siblings-in-law, Ralph and Shirley Johnston.
She is survived by: her children, Lynn and Jim (Mitchell); her son-in-law Bob Rudell; her granddaughters, Sarah Rudell (Todd Beach) and Amber Rudell (Matt Johnson); and her great grandchildren, Abby Beach, Liam Beach, Casey Johnson and Cooper Johnson.
The family kindly requests in view of the COVID-19 pandemic that guests wear face masks and maintain social distancing for the safety of all.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials for an Igena Johnston flower garden to be planted at Cadwell Park.
