We are sad to announce that on July 31, 2021, at the age of 84, Helen Ann Strong of Mitchell, South Dakota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leroy Smith and Minnie Smith (Deinert); her husband Dannie Strong; her son Todd Strong; her daughter-in-law Jane Strong; her siblings, Harriet Hemeyer, Harlan and Harley Smith; and her parents-in-law, Donald Strong (Doris) and Mary Foley.
She is survived by: her children, Sherri Brummett (William) of Mitchell, SD, Wesley Strong (Sharon) of Sanford, NC, Randy Strong of Mitchell, SD, Marty Strong of Denver, CO and Christy Strong-Larson (Jason) of Sioux Falls, SD; her brother Harvey Smith (Cheryl); and her siblings-in-law, Marilyn Smith of Mitchell, SD, Shirley Fletcher of Joplin, MO, Delmar Hemeyer of Spearfish, SD, Willis Strong (Billie) of Liberal, MO, Frank Foley and El Dorado Springs. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, twenty-one great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to monument restoration at Graceland Cemetery.
