It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gerald Berg of Mitchell, South Dakota, who passed away on November 15, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Berg and Josephine Berg (Haler); his sons, Michael and Mark Berg; and his siblings, Rita Weber and John.
He is survived by: his children, Robert Berg (Heidi) of Emery, Andrew Berg (Erin) of Sioux Falls, Cindy Donahue (Kerry) of Dimock, Christi Schaeppi (Kurt) of Sioux Falls, Cathy Long (Jim) of Edina, MN and Carla Berg (Todd) of Pensacola, FL; and his sisters, Regina Nolz of Mitchell and Eleanor Weber of Spearfish. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
