He was predeceased by: his parents, Adeline (Stewart) and Frank Sell, Sr.; his wife Jo Ann; his granddaughter Aimee Palmer (Lange); and his brothers, Wayne and Orville Sell.
He is survived by: his children, Larry Joe Lange of Scotland, Rita Weatherbee (Al) of Pierre, Carrie Neuschwander (Brad) of Broussard, Louisiana and Melinda Olson (Thad) of Mitchell. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
