He was predeceased by: his parents, Dewald Winter and Pauline Winter (Guthmiller); his wife Geneva Winter; his brother Marvin Winter; his daughter-in-law Gail Winter; and his sisters-in-law, Marcella Werning and Anita Winter.
He is survived by: his children, Brian Winter of El Cajon, CA, Mark Winter (Sandy), Keith Winter (Carol Moran), Kevin Winter (Susie) and Bonnie Struble (Keith) of Mitchell, SD; and his siblings, Lillian Timm (Fred) of Temecula, CA and Richard Winter (Judy) of Parkston, SD. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
Memorials will be given to St. Jude Children's Hospital and Shriners Hospital.
