She was predeceased by: her parents, William Kowalke and Ruth Colburn; her husband John Herron; her daughters, Sandra and Pamela; and her siblings, Mildred Dornor and Otto Kowalke.
She is survived by: her daughters, Barbara Merritt of Lexington, NC, Linda Hargan (Dennis) of Mitchell, SD and Dawn Clark (Carey) of Mitchell, SD; and her siblings, Ruby Bemis of Brookings, SD and Bernard Kowalke of Spearfish, SD.. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
