He was predeceased by: his parents, Micheal Mickelson and Amanda Mickelson (Egge); his former wife Shirley Mae Mickelson; his siblings, Orval Mickelson (Ruby), Iola Scott (Gaylord) and Arla Scott (Leo); his parents-in-law, Carlos and Cleo Godber (Kane); and also, Elaine Johnson (Volney), Marvin Godber (Marvis) and Merlin Godber.
He is survived by: his spouse Darcy; his children, Darcy Mickelson (Karen) of Mt. Vernon and Crystal Mickelson of Lakeville, MN; his grandchildren, Stephani Kenward (Erin), Micheal Mickelson (Marie), Meghan Moody (Walt), Kelsey and Elise Backer; and his great grandchildren, Jaeden, Jordyn, Kalan Kenward, Connor Degen, Emerson Mickelson, Addyson and Kooper Moody.
