Eldeen Stekl Obituary
We are sad to announce that on April 9, 2025, at the age of 90, Eldeen Stekl of Mitchell, South Dakota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Anderson and Edna Anderson (Bibler); her husband Duane Stekl; her daughter Connie; her siblings, Archie Anderson (Kathleen) and Elaine Kane (Lowell); and her brothers-in-law, Lavern Larson and Ervin Tastad.
She is survived by: her children, Lynette Reime (Hans) of Hoquiam, WA, Coly Blake (Bob) of Wessington, SD, Wes Stekl (Sherri) of Letcher, SD and Allen "Tig" Stekl (Joan) of Lennox, SD; her sisters, Corrine Larson of Mitchell, SD and Thelma Tastad of Mitchell, SD; and her grandchildren, Joel Beraldi, Lisha Beraldi Schnoor, Nicole Beraldi Kastern, Toby Moody, Tera Moody Cuka, Brett Stekl, Kurt Stekl, Todd Stekl, Christian Stekl and Caleb Stekl. She is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, April 13th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Bittner Funeral Chapel (805 W Havens Ave, Mitchell, SD 57301). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Trinity Lutheran Church (1400 E 2nd Ave, Mitchell, SD 57301).
