With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elda Keeton of Mitchell, South Dakota, who passed away on July 24, 2023 at the age of 101. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin Hatting and Margaret E. Hatting (Mienen); her husband Gordon Keeton; her siblings, John Hatting, Leonard Hatting, Andrew Hatting, Clarence Hatting, Eldon Hatting, Alma Hons and Elaine Wellendorf; and her siblings-in-law, Dick Hons, Donald O'Toole, Duane Wellendorf, Robert Wesselink, Ruth Hatting, MaryEllen Hatting, Donna Hatting and Diane Hatting.
She is survived by: her children, Janet Weber (Ed) of Mitchell, Bruce Pontow (Roxanne) of Columbus, NE and Karla Olson (Gary) of Woonsocket; her stepchildren, Richard Keeton (Betty) of Ferguson Falls, MN and Nancy Muller of Topeka, KS; her sisters, Della Wesselink of Henderson, NC and Marjorie O'Toole of Sisley, IA.; and her sister-in-law Bobbi Hatting of Bothel, WA.. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
