It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Edward Klose of Mitchell, South Dakota, who passed away on March 31, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Edward shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Edward farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Sylvester Klose (Tootie) and Bernadine Klose (Timmisch); his stepmother Helen Klose; and his stepdaughter Anna Marie Waters. He is survived by: his daughters, Teresa Vallejo (Mark), Julie Erickson (Sean Mason) and Susan Sare (Larry); his sister Eva Lou Wells; and his stepchildren, Katherine Luke (Tom) and Jim Picek (Linda). He is also survived by his wife; three children; 11 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Prayer Service Bittner Funeral Chapel (805 W Havens Ave, Mitchell, SD 57301). A prayer was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 at 6:30 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Holy Family Catholic Church (222 N Kimball St, Mitchell, SD 57301).
