He was predeceased by: his parents, Ed Buckles and Mae Buckles (Conser); his sisters, Dorothy Talbert, Phyllis and Russell Whitney (Leona Buckles); his daughter MaryAnn Proctor; and his grandchildren, Aaron Barbin and Brandi Eha.
He is survived by: his wife Leona Fuerst; his sisters, Virginia Currie of Oklahoma City, OK and Donna Rothones (Johnny) of Loveland, CO; and his children, Terry (Connie), Donald (Cindy) of Denver, CO, Roger of Davenport, FL, Wayne of Wingate, NC, LeAnne (Al) and Julie (Greg). He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nephews, and nieces.
