He was predeceased by: his parents, Dale Stokes and Borghild Stokes (Hanson); his siblings, Chuck and Linda; his brother-in-law Ronald Duehr; and his nieces, Amy Hilt and Connie Schwartz.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Shervheim; his son Derrick (Sarah); his grandchildren, Ian and Paige; his daughter Tina Polreis (Martin); his grandchildren, Joshua and Hilary; his siblings, Dianne Stokes and Warren Stokes (Judy); and his sister-in-law Loretta Stokes. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
