He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Hauge and Leona Hauge (Schultz); his wife Corinne Hauge of John's Lutheran Church; and his sisters, Jodene Erickson and Janet Heath.
He is survived by: his daughter Susan Higgins (Major General); his granddaughters, Sarah Becker (Matthew Becker), Emily Davidson (Trevor Davidson) and Dr. Jessica Higgins (Cole Gessner); and also, Caroline Becker and Marian Becker.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Will Funeral Chapel (210 E Green Dr, Mitchell, SD 57301). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 2:30 PM to 2:45 PM at the Graceland Cemetery (600 W 23rd Ave, Mitchell, SD 57301).
