He was predeceased by: his parents, Christian Letcher and Gertrude Letcher (Schumacker); and his brother Duane (Margaret). He is survived by: his wife Sheila Wipf; his children, Michael (Shawna) of Rapid City, Bradley (Kristi) of Huron and Laura Bruns (David) of Letcher; and his grandchildren, Samantha, Jessica, Mason, McKenna, Rylan, Cooper and Reed.

Memorials will be directed to Mitchell Vocational Technical Institute and Avera@Home Hospice.
