She was predeceased by: her parents, Ausbrand Valentine and LaVerne Valentine (Johnson); her siblings, Verne Valentine and Berniece Meyers (Phil Meyers); and her brother-in-law Bob Austad.
She is survived by: her husband Donald M. Skinner; her siblings, Mary Austad and Robert Valentine (Deb); her sister-in-law Judy Valentine; and her caregiver Colleen.
In lieu of flowers the family request memorials be made to Avera Hospice in Colleen's name.
