He was predeceased by: his parents, Elwyn Pederson and Delight Pederson (Beschen); his wife Esther Henkel of Paul's Catholic Church; his son Darwin Denis Pederson; his great grandchild Benjamin Bock; his siblings, Diana Kummer and Patrick Pederson; his siblings-in-law, Jean Pederson, Glen Fields, Martin Zapp and Robert Schlosser; his brothers, Harold (Vieva Henkel), Walter (Dorothy Henkel) and Joe (Gila Henkel); and his parents-in-law, Emil and Marie Henkel.
He is survived by: his sons, David Pederson (Brenda) of Browns Valley, MN and Daniel Pederson (Janelle) of Detroit Lakes, MN; his grandchildren, Kristina Pederson, Eric Pederson (Mandy), Justin Pederson (Michele), Tyler Pederson and Jordan Pederson; his great grandchildren, Mariah, Logan Bock, Joshua, Ella, Jenna, Crosby and Nora Pederson; his siblings, Donald Pederson (Jean) of Dell Rapids, SD, Ray Pederson of Dell Rapids, SD and JoAnn Fields of Dell Rapids, SD; his siblings-in-law, Duane Kummer of Mitchell, SD and Elaine Schlosser of Kenosha, WI; and his friend Linda Neugebauer.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Holy Spirit Catholic Church (1401 W Cedar Ave, Mitchell, SD 57301). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
