With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Claudia Vaughn (Mitchell, South Dakota), born in Homer, Nebraska, who passed away on August 5, 2023 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lenora Sparks (Serr) and Orville B. Sparks; her husband Merle; and her brother Steve Sparks. She is survived by: her great grandchild Hayley; her daughter Cathy (Emery); her grandchildren, Nick, Nathan, Noah (Brittany), Sam and Sophia; her great grandchildren, Jade, Jace, Oliver and Everly; and her sisters, Marsha Fyler, Mary Schmitt (Gary), Machele Vogt (Eldon) and Julee Miller.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be donated to the Doughtery Hospice House in Sioux Falls.
