He is survived by: his parents, David Mutziger and Phyllis Mutziger (Larson); his wife Carrie Fite; his children, Mataya and Riley; his brother Brad Mutziger (Kathey); his parents-in-law, Everette and Darlene Fite; his brother-in-law Cory Fite (Sherie); his niece Ashley Glanzer (Drew); his nephews, Tyler Mutziger, Tanner, Jaicee Fite and Tegan Fite; and his aunts and uncles, Rose Larson, Deann Hauge, Mary Mutziger, Milt Nelson, Ron Larson, Joe Mutziger (Diane) and Paul Mutziger (Marlene).

A memorial fund has been established for Brent's children's future education.
