Beverly Nearhood Obituary

We are sad to announce that on November 18, 2020, at the age of 93, Beverly Nearhood of Mitchell, South Dakota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Elwin Blacksten and Eunice Blacksten; her husband Harold Nearhood; and her parents-in-law, Jerry Hatzenbuhler, Reva Nearhood, Alice Nearhood, Florence Tilberg, Blanche Moeller, Helen Paulsen, Elvin Nearhood and Ruth Nesheim.

She is survived by: her children, Nancy Mueller (Delmar) of Ethan, SD, Patty Scheich (Len) of Mitchell, SD, Wanda Helmers (Steve), Bruce Nearhood (Kim) of Rapid City, SD and Stacey Brophy (Chris) of Thornton, CO; and her sister Bonnie Hatzenbuhler of Mitchell, SD. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
