It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Arleen Bye of Mitchell, South Dakota, born in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, who passed away on July 2, 2021, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Bruce Bye; her parents, Edwin Haugum and Mary Haugum; her parents-in-law, Ingman and Myrtle Bye; and her brother-in-law Mervin Bye.
She is survived by: her children, Audrey Handsel (Jim) of Mitchell, SD, Lola Mae Cranny (Pat) of Plankinton, SD, Renee Spaans (Jim) of Mission, TX and Lowell Bye (Merna) of Corsica, SD; her grandchildren, Darin Cranny (Anna Klein), Nicole Roth (Craig) of Tea, SD, Kyle Spaans (Weisbaden Germany), Trevor Bye (Brittany) of Corsica, SD and Adam Bye of Corsica, SD; and her sister-in-law Darlene Bye. She is also survived by her great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
