With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Antionette Northina Swank of Mitchell, South Dakota, born in Kenosha, Wisconsin, who passed away on July 12, 2021 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Podella and Kristine Podella; her parents-in-law, Clarence and Gladys; her siblings, Fred, Velma and Joe; and her brothers-in-law, Harold Bridgeman and Noel Walrath.
She is survived by: her husband William Swank (Bill); her children, Robert (Deborah) of Sun Prairie, WI, Jeffrey (Karen) of Aberdeen, SD, Dave (Ruth) of Sioux Falls, SD, Kristine Finkenbiner (Robert) of Libertyville, IL and Rick (Kim) of Mitchell, SD; and her sisters-in-law, Jean Walrath, Shirley Pitts (Gary) and Marilyn Podella. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 4 step grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, 8 step great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting memorials be sent to Susan G. Komen Breast Center.
