It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lorraine D. Aase of Mission Hill, South Dakota, who passed away on August 28, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Martin Zentner and Matilda Zentner (Kern); her husbands, Clarence Leo Grate and Elwyn; her granddaughter Charlotte Aase; and her siblings, Viola, Allean, Luellyn, Duane and Dennis.
She is survived by: her close friends, Mischief and Rascal; her children, Eugene Grate (Betty) of Yankton, Rose Beaulieu (Bill) of Spencer, Iowa, Diane Carpenter (Terry) of Elizabeth Lake, California, Lyle Grate (Jan'et) of Sioux Falls, Julie Blunck (Randy) of Yankton, Joseph Grate of Fairview, Lori Holzman (Larry) of Sioux Falls and Vicki Stearns (Harley) of Tucson, Arizona; and her siblings, Evelyn Bachmeier of Rapid City, Merlene Sautner (Don) of Whitewood, Leon Zentner (Pauline) of Morristown, Kenneth Zentner (Joanie Simon) of White Butte and Darold Zentner (Sue) of Riverside. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren; six great-great grandchildren.
