She is survived by: her husband Jim Simpson of Mission Hill; her children, Steve Simpson (Ashlee) of Bremerton and Jen Murguia (Javy) of Yankton; her stepdaughter Kim Stambaugh (Jason) of Mascoutah, Illinois; her grandchildren, Alejo, Teryn, Bella, Husdon and Marco; her pets, Chloe, Buster, Chico, Chichi and Nala; her brothers, Wayne Huskey (Jo) of Maroa and Dennis Huskey (Shelley) of Ripon, California; and her half-brother Jim Sleeper (Melissa) of Myrtle Beach.
