He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto Wieland and Augusta Wieland (Gradert); his granddaughter Ashley Zeller; his grandfather John Gradert; his sister Nadine Reilly (Don); his sisters-in-law, Jeanette Hartley and Judy Reilly; and his close friend Bill Aldrich.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Reilly of Miller; his daughters, Gail Zeller (Joe) of Miller, Diane Moncur (Jim) of Miller and Beth Fischer (Lenny) of Miller; his grandchildren, Adrienne Zeller (Clark Cotton), Adam Zeller (Annie), Aaron Zeller, Brian Moncur (Amy), Lisa Fritzsche (Joe), Emily Rodgers (Kaleb), Angie Anderberg (Travis) and Ryan Fischer; his sister Carol James of Huron; and his brother-in-law Jerry Reilly (Denise) of Perrysburg, Ohio. He is also survived by 17 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
