With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Milford John Wieland of Miller, South Dakota, born in Huron, South Dakota, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto Wieland and Augusta Wieland (Gradert); his granddaughter Ashley Zeller; his grandfather John Gradert; his sister Nadine Reilly (Don); his sisters-in-law, Jeanette Hartley and Judy Reilly; and his close friend Bill Aldrich.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Reilly of Miller; his daughters, Gail Zeller (Joe) of Miller, Diane Moncur (Jim) of Miller and Beth Fischer (Lenny) of Miller; his grandchildren, Adrienne Zeller (Clark Cotton), Adam Zeller (Annie), Aaron Zeller, Brian Moncur (Amy), Lisa Fritzsche (Joe), Emily Rodgers (Kaleb), Angie Anderberg (Travis) and Ryan Fischer; his sister Carol James of Huron; and his brother-in-law Jerry Reilly (Denise) of Perrysburg, Ohio. He is also survived by 17 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the First Presbyterian Church (321 W 1st Ave, Miller, SD 57362). A masonic service will be held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Masonic Services First Presbyterian Church (321 W 1st Ave, Miller, SD 57362). A graveside service will be held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the G. A. R. Cemetery.
