He is survived by: his mother Colleen Pettit (Evans); his close friend Tom Meehan; his wife Ruth Schildknecht; his children, Laura Hanson (Tony) and Michael H. Pettit (Samantha Tonak); his grandchildren, Liz, Kadence and Elijah; his siblings, Paul Pettit, Anna Nolz (Lee), John Koeck and Dolly; and also Don Koeck.
