It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lucille I. Kolda of Miller, South Dakota, who passed away on October 17, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Swaney and Helen Swaney (Cooper); her husband Verlin Kolda; her daughter Mary Ann; her grandson Ryan Runge; her siblings, Harry Swaney and Irene Swaney; and her sisters-in-law, Pat Ruzicka (Loren) and Doris Kolda.
She is survived by: her children, Diana Runge (David) of Wessington, Leon Kolda (Barb) of Polo, Milo Kolda (Debra) of Faulkton, Ervin Kolda (Tena) of Polo and Dean Kolda (Rema) of St. Lawrence. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; and 23 great grandchildren.
A wake was held on Monday, October 21st 2024 at 7:00 PM at the St. Liborius Catholic Church (17985 354th Ave, Orient, SD 57467). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, October 22nd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, October 22nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Mount Calvary Cemetery (17985 354th Ave, Orient, SD 57467).
