With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kathryn M. Schlechter (Miller, South Dakota), who passed away on October 18, 2019 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Philip Wernsmann and Mary Wernsmann (Maloney); her husband Maurice; her siblings, James, Edward (Charlotte), Phil (Sally), Ralph, Bernard, Marie Mattson (Wayne), Mildred (Sister), Lucille Anglin (Alvin) and Dorothy Zens (Edmund); and her grandchildren, Jack Schulz and Kimberly Juhnke.
She is survived by: her children, Doris Juhnke (Randy), Mike Schlechter, Ted Schlechter (JoEllen), Mary Neuhauser (Kevin), Jean Engen (Kevin), Carol Goodrich (Mike), Rob Schlechter (Sheila), Cindy Gerber (Gaylon) and Kathy Schulz (Jeff); her sister Betty Schlechter; and her sister-in-law Geraldine Wernsmann. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandchild.
