It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Fanning of Miller, South Dakota, born in Huron, South Dakota, who passed away on April 27, 2023, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Fanning and Betty Fanning (Weise); his siblings, Clyde and Charlene; and his nephew Ethan.
He is survived by: his wife Vicky Fanning (Gerlach); his children, Nick Fanning (Marlena) of Hudson and Christina Fanning of Tea; and his siblings, Jeanine Hammill (Mike) of Miller, Shirley Vlasman (Kenny) of Watertown and Chris Fanning (Leah) of Miller. He is also survived by five grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
