She is survived by: her husband Kenneth Van Zee; her children, Kenette Rogers (Rod) of Ree Heights and Dean (Sherrie) of St. Lawrence; her grandchildren, Nathan Van Zee of Miller, Lucas Van Zee (Kyra) of Ellendale, Mitchell Van Zee of St. Lawrence, Erin Sybesma (Zach) of Ree Heights and Samantha Rogers of Ree Heights; her great grandchild Brooklyn Charlotte Van Zee of Ellendale; her sister Marlene Knudtson of Pierre; her niece Shirlene Smook (Dennis) of Aberdeen; and her nephew Bruce Knudtson of Custer.
Due to the COVID-19 restrictions, a private family funeral service was held at 10:30 a. m., Wednesday, May 13, 2020 at the St. Lawrence Community Church with Pastor Jim Hofman officiating.
