He is survived by: his wife Vicky Lanz; his children, Jennifer Ann, Jennifer Herman (Don) of Miller and Mason Russell (Jaime) of Miller; his grandchildren, Shelby Werdel (Wade) of Miller, Haydn Herman (Brooke), Keeley Herman, Hunter Russell, Gage Russell and Preslie Russell; his great grandchildren, Rayne and Rowen Werdel; his sisters, Linda Ziegler (Steve) of Miller, Frances Alumbaugh (Jerry) of Pierre and Michelle Hopper (Robert) of Pierre; his parents-in-law, David and Eleanor Lanz; his sisters-in-law, Brenda Dedman (Daryl) and Leanna Resel (Dale); and his nieces and nephews, Heath, Jeff, Matthew "Todd" Ziegler, Clint, Christopher Alumbaugh, Charlie, Lenny, Rob Hopper, Ryan Resel (Padyn), Mick Resel (Crystal), Elizabeth, Laura, Anna Hopper, Trish Teason (Scott), Kierston Blake (Walter), Darcy Onaindia, Torie Wamser and Anna Black (Junior).
