He was predeceased by: his parents, Dwight Dearborn and Evelyn Dearborn (Johnson); his parents-in-law, Ralph and Ruth Johnson; his brother-in-law Paul Klamm; and his son-in-law Mason Short.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Johnson; his children, Chad Dearborn of Miller, SD and Jeannie Short; his grandchildren, Kathlynn of Rapid City, SD, Alexander of Rapid City, SD and Kristoffer Short of Rapid City, SD; and his siblings, Randy Dearborn of Miller, SD, Sharyl Jasper of Spearfish, SD and Mary Dearborn of Sioux Falls, SD. He is also survived by son brothers and sisters-in-law; several nieces, nephews and cousins, as well as many dear friends.
