She was loved and cherished by many people including: her children, Alan Nissen (Roxanne), Vicki Hawn (Bill), Rick Nissen (Nancy), Shelly Nissen and Lori Nissen (Tim); her brother George Melber (Donna); her husband Alvin Nissen; her parents, Ursula Melber and George Melber; and her siblings, Rosine Schwartz, Freida Porter, Lloyd Melber, Elsie Love, Mary Estes, Louise Reddix and Arlene Templeton. She was also cherished by her five children; 15 grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren.
Eva was in her 91st year, finally losing her struggle with Alzheimers.
