He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Henry Eschenbaum and Lena Eschenbaum (Engelmann); his sons, Harrison and Jeff (Jody); his grandfather Weert Engelmann; his wife Roberta Eschenbaum; his daughters, Duana Eschenbaum, Miller and Shirley Cook (Mike); his grandchildren, Vance Cook (Rikki), Jennifer McIntosh (Nate), Jessica Naderi (Greg), Sterling Eschenbaum (Courtney), Ty Eschenbaum, Calder Eschenbaum and Stetson Eschenbaum; his great grandchildren, Jacob DeBus, Jayden DeBus, Jillian DeBus, Zachary McIntosh, Anekka Vlcek, Devin Cook, Ryker and Landry Eschenbaum; his siblings, MaryAnn Clodt, JoDean Joy (Vernon), Robert (Donna), Harold (LaVonne) and Ruth; and his brother-in-law Ola Harrell.
