She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas DeGroot and Cornelia DeGroot (DeRoos); her husband Bruce Marlow Pedersen; her son Thomas Ole Pedersen; her grandsons, Michael Anthony Hayes and Matthew Hayes; and her siblings, Leona Ruppelt (George), Marge DeGroot, Betty DeFries, Thelma Kent, Clarice Shutt and Tom DeGroot.
She is survived by: her children, Gregory Pedersen (Paula) of Miller, SD, Julie Eckhardt (Jim) of St Peter, MO and Christine Hayes (Tony) of Rapid City, SD; her sisters, Doris Tucker (Roger) and Judy Seger (Larry); and her siblings-in-law, Keith DeFries, Bob Shutt and Pat DeGroot. She is also survived by grandchildren.
Memorials will be directed to Sunshine Bible Academy (Miller SD), Grace Bible Fellowship (Central City NE), and the Nebraska Christian School (Central City NE).
