He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald and Marie. He is survived by: his daughter Tammie (Rodger Lauritzen) of Sun Prairie; his grandchildren, Shauna Lauritzen, Jonathon Lauritzen, Kameron Lauritzen and William Lauritzen; his brothers, Jim (Marilyn Dyer) of Miller, Larry (Barb Dyer) of Volga and Dale (Arleen Dyer) of Madison; and his aunt June Reisenweber of Sioux Falls. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
