He was predeceased by: his parents, Harlan Peterman and Eva Peterman; his son Ray Peterman; his stepdaughter Denise Yost; his stepson-in-law Dennis Yost; his siblings, John, Walter, Robert Peterman, Vera Comstock, Thelma Neu, Helen Holtz and Ruth Gregory; and his great grandchildren, Alex Geraets, Hailei Schlechter, Oliver Yost and Baby Yost.
He is survived by: his wife Elaine Peterman; his sons, Brian Peterman (Diego Rodriguez-Sanchez) and Bradley Peterman; his stepchildren, Dawn Joy (Allen) and Doug Purrington (Janice); his daughters, Christine Peterman and Janice Faltersack; his sister Mildred Metz; and his grandchildren, Jalynn (Chad), Jacob, Kara (Dan), Jon (Deidra), Andrew, Jessica (Jason), Kros (Rachel), Larisha (AJ), Amanda (Jeff), Deidra (Andy), Serena (Andy), Sabrina (Craig), Devron (Lacey) and Caleb (Nina). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great and great, great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 29th 2024 at 6:30 PM at the Trinity Lutheran Church (707 E 1st Ave, Miller, SD 57362). A prayer was held on Friday, November 29th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 at 11:15 AM at the St. Lawrence Cemetery.
