He is survived by: his wife Kathy; his children, Charley Yost (Gann Valley), Wade Yost (Ree Heights), Christina Christensen (Wessington Springs), Stacey Penrod (Gettysburg) and Rodney Yost (Gann Valley); his grandchildren, C. J., Bailey, Abby Yost, Sage, Kendyn, Kaylor Yost, Quinten, Landen, Hayes Christensen, Anastasia, Thomas Penrod and Remington Yost; his siblings, Ardessa Moser (Richie) and Willie Yost (Iona); and his sister-in-law Norma Yost.
For those who prefer an option in lieu of flowers, the family will be donating to charities that have played a special role in Chuck's life.
