She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Palon and Mildred Palon (Shoemaker); her husband Marvin; her son David; her siblings, Virgil, Johnnie, Jimmy, Geraldine Houdek (Sissy) and Jean Gormley; her in-laws, Joe, Alice Beranek, Leo Beranek, Sie, Eileen Kusser and Paul Gormley; and her nieces and nephews, Susie Bonnichsen (Kusser), Valerie True (Gormley), Laurie Koski (Houdek), Jim Kusser and Chad Houdek.
She is survived by: her daughter-in-law Karen Beranek; her sons, Mark Beranek (Brenda) and Steve Beranek (Karen); her grandchildren, Matt Beranek (Abby), Rachel Hagen (Alex), Lakota Beranek, Jada Beranek and Colin Beranek; her stepgranddaughters, Michelle Matthews (Jon) and Jill Seney; her great grandchildren, Juliet Beranek, Luke Hagen, Gabe Hagen, Levi Hagen, Tate Matthews (Grace), Luke Matthews, Eden Matthews, Sage Seney, Sadie Seney and Saylor Seney; and her sister-in-law Mary Beranek.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 9:30 AM at the St. Ann's Catholic Church (709 E 4th St, Miller, SD 57362). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 11:30 AM at the St. Ann's Catholic Cemetery (709 E 4th St, Miller, SD 57362).
