“My sympathies to Alton's family. I was his visitor from the United Church of Christ Pension Board and always enjoyed visiting with him. We talked about preaching and about people who we both knew; sometimes it took both of us to come up with a name. He talked of his family, and just the Monday before he passed, he talked of his death. I'm so glad I got that last visit with him. My prayers for you are for comfort and peace. Rev.
