It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Aaron C. Ellsworth of Miller, South Dakota, who passed away on November 20, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, George and Della (Cunningham); his daughter Cheryl Brock; his granddaughter Kenzi Ellsworth; his brothers, Kenneth (Barbara) and Robert (Bernice); his brother-in-law Jasper Shaw; his father-in-law George Tagtow (Kathrine); and his sisters-in-law, Phylis Bell (Pete) and Lorraine Ellerton (Everett).
He is survived by: his brother George; his wife Rita Tagtow; his children, Janice Purrington (Doug), Mike Ellsworth (Susie) and Steve Ellsworth; his son-in-law Wayne Brock; his grandchildren, Kara (Dan), Grady, Haley Heffner, Kristen Rittel (Ryan), Kaitlyn (Clinton), Kenley, Carter, Khloe, Colsen McKee, Reis (Mikayla), Colby Rittel, Jonathan Bailey (Deidra), Nichole, Amia, Raegan, Evelyn, Maliyah Deuter, Sarah, Charlie, Adeline Theophilus, Lindsey (Alex), Bode, Tripp, Ellsworth Bahe, Jamie (Demarion), Miller, Louie Mapp, Kelly (Brandon), Cooper, Tessa Bushnell, Dani (Kyle), Hal and Olan Bertsch; his sisters, Patricia Shaw, Karen Kroning (Bob), Barbara Sluneka (Gordon) and Janice Moncur (Gene); and his siblings-in-law, Sandy Smith and Roger Tagtow. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
