She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Lee Vaught and Bessie Vaught (Watwood); her grandmother Watwood; her husband Hubert Harlen Bierwagen; her children, Eugene Bierwagen (Judy) of New Underwood, Kevin Bierwagen (Lori) of Sioux Falls and Lianne Bjugstad (Neal) of Lisbon; her grandchildren, Pam, Cerrie, Dallas Bierwagen, Ryan Bjugstad (Kari), Heather Giesen (Jason), Leslie Schmidt (Ben), Elliot and Alyssa Bierwagen; her sisters, Arlyce Naeve of Rapid City and Beverly Jean Vaught; and her brother-in-law John "Jack" Naeve. She was also cherished by other relatives and friends.

A memorial has been established to the Milesville Cemetery and Milesville Hall.
